Private sessions involve personal one–on-one training with an Instructor. The Instructor will take you through a 55-minute workout that is developed with your individual needs and goals in mind. Because you will have the exclusive attention of your Instructor, this type of session offers the most benefit to you. Each session will incorporate Matwork and various apparatus work.
Duet sessions involve two persons sharing a 55-minute workout, guided by an Instructor. The participants may or may not do the same program during the session, depending on the needs and goals of each person. Each session will incorporate Matwork and various apparatus work. Participation in Duet sessions requires prior experience in Private sessions, and must have Instructor approval.
Group session involve 3 or 4 persons sharing 55-minute workout, guided by an instructor. The participants may or may not do the same program during the session, depending on the needs and goals of each person. Each session will incorporate Matwork and various apparatus work. Participation in Group sessions requires a very good understanding and command of the work and must have Instructor approval.
Matwork classes are group workouts done on mats only. Pilates Matwork is core-based and uses your own body weight as resistance. The classes are guided by an Instructor and is appropriate for all skill levels. Matwork is the foundation of Pilates and when learned and mastered, is a wonderfully inexpensive, highly effective workout that you can do any time, in your own home or in any setting.
